Baby’s sleep pattern
More often than not, parents of newborns think that their kids are sleeping a lot. There can be many reasons for it, but most kids have different sleep patterns, but they all need the same amount of sleep. The important thing to note is the duration of naps and not how often they sleep.
Newborns need sleep of about 17 hours to 20 hours a day.
Infants of about 6 to 12 months need an average speed of 12 to 1 hours
Toddlers need around 10 to 13 hours of sleep.
Kids over 3 years to 10 years need 10 hours of sleep

Setting up a routine

The important question is to find out when to transition rather than how to. The age for moving from crib to bed varies from child to child.
